Student Leaders Meet with Principal and Academic Coordinators to Set Priorities and Launch Initiatives

On September 11, 2024, the elected student leaders of the Basic Education Department met with the Office of the Principal and Academic Coordinators to establish the priorities for the school year. The Principal highlighted key focus areas, such as promoting self-discipline, maintaining cleanliness on campus, and enhancing the Student Body Organizations's online presence.

Reaffirming the school's campaign slogan, "Basta Divinista, May Disiplina", the Principal encouraged student leaders to set the standard for discipline and ensure it is upheld throughout the school community. The meeting also introduced new initiatives aimed at fostering both environmental awareness and value-driven behavior.

The "Every Divinian, A Plant: DWCSJ's response to Laudatu Si" initiative was discussed, urging students to participate in greening the campus by planting and caring for their own plants. Additionally, the Values Award program was re-introduced, recognizing students who demonstrate the school's core values, promoting positive behavior and moral development.

The school emphasized that its mission extends beyond academic excellence and spiritual growth. A core focus remains the development of desirable values among DWCSJ learners, nurturing well-rounded individuals who will contribute positively to society.
